KIDZ CLUB - Tuesday 14^th July - Friday 17^th July

Once again we held an outreach for the children and thank God that it went well and the children were very enthusiastic. The theme was The Starship Discovery Club and a variety of stories, songs, memory verses, quizzes, games and crafts were all packed into a very fast moving 2 hours between 2pm-4pm every afternoon.

We started with 7 children and then doubled to 15 with the same children and others coming back each day. A Family Service was held on Sunday 19th and parents were invited to attend this service. It was good to see one new parent and 12 children in the service. We thank Gordon and Helen Bingham from the Faith Mission, and others who joined with our own folk to make this week possible. It was a team effort and we pray the seed has been sown in many hearts and look forward to some new faces in the Sunday Club as a result

Other Events

We have other events from time to time such as church outings and barbecues and had a church holiday in Ireland in 2006.

One other venture was a sail on Derwentwater and a visit to feed some ponies. We enjoyed lunch overlooking the lake and later a cuppa in a small Quaker church.
